About Kathleen Doxtator / Yakotshanuni

Yakoshanuni / Kathleen is a Oneida Nation woman creative that does a variety of work for her community. Kathleen is a trained teacher with a Bachelors of Science and Bachelors of Education from Brock University. Kathleen studies the Oneida language and actively participates in language revitalization work as a Twatati Committee Member. Kathleen has been an Elected Councillor for the Oneida Nation of the Thames since 2016. Kathleen's most recently adventures are in Entrepreneurship as a small business owner and operator since June 2021. Kathleen has a strong passion for helping others through her work as a teacher, councillor and business owner.
